The white wine Flo Two Grauer Burgunder, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Ernst Popp has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Franconia in Germany.
Closed in the fragrance, but recognisably not a Ruländer, with air contact, keuper-spicy, almost dusty, chalky. Full-bodied in the mouth, but without breadth, with a silky texture and a very fine acid nerve that is physiologically part of the wine, a complete varietal type, suitable for gastronomic use (poultry liver) or as an autumnal twilight drink.
