The natural wine »180° Kehrtwende« Silvaner trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Freihof has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 94+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
A slightly cloudy golden hue in colour. Orange confit in the fragrance, apricot, a malty undertone, oolong, dried sage. A very clear and quite complex aroma. A short, supple, almost oily attack is followed by a mid-palate densely packed with fine-grained phenolics. The structural length is enormous. An exciting wine.
