The red wine Hallgartener Hendelberg Spätburgunder VDP. Erste Lage, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Georg Müller Stiftung has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rheingau in Germany.
Almond, juniper, amarena cherry, mint, a real firework display of spicy aromas. On the palate with mellow tannins, it is supple but not smooth, salty notes, very round and homogeneous on the palate, yet structured and substantial. It is ripe but with supporting acidity, and has very good length and very good potential.
