The red wine »Talrain« Blauer Spätburgunder unfiltriert, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Hanspeter Ziereisen has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 - 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
A nose of dark cherry, cassis and cloves as well as herbs de Provence. It's rather slender, cool and yet somehow still opulent on the palate, with aromas of blackberry, black cherry and honeysuckle. A wine with good tension, fine tannins and a slight extract sweetness which is accompanied by elegant minerality on the finish.
