The white wine »Weißer Jura« Neuffen Silvaner trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Hedwig und Helmut Dolde has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Württemberg in Germany.
It has aromas almost nothing like Silvaner, but more like seaweed, iodine and oyster shells - a shallow sea from the Jurassic period appears in the mind's eye. On the palate, the wine is sweet and extracted, with a juicy acidity leading into the full-bodied, concentrated, chalky-textured finish.
