The white wine »Bienenfresser Prestige« Sauvignon Blanc Landwein trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Höfflin has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Baden in Germany.
Not exuberant with a typical Sauvignon nose, restrained and calm, a little yellow fruit and redcurrant, apple and apple peel. On the palate there is good extract that conveys a fine sweetness and the right amount of phenolics. A tad of peppery spice on the long finish.
