The white wine »Louis Blanc Fumé« Östringen Hummelberg Cuvée trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Honold has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 88 - 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Weißburgunder, Chardonnay from the region Baden in Germany.
It develops an aroma of oak savouriness, yeast, yellow fruit, medlar, apricot, plus hazelnut. On the palate the wine presents a good smoothness, viscosity and creaminess. In the full body, the alcohol is well integrated, a sweet fruit lingers.
