The sweet and dessert wine Riesling Wehlener Sonnenuhr Beerenauslese, vintage 1971 from the winery Weingut Joh. Jos. Prüm has been rated in 2014 with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Pale amber, delicate golden reflections. Fine botrytis savouriness, delicate dried fruit notes, a hint of raisin, a hint of orange and caramel. Very complex, dense, but with a racy structure underneath, full-bodied, well-balanced fruit opulence, nuances of orange on the finish, salty touch in the aftertaste, great length, still has many years ahead of it, a great Riesling experience.
