On the nose, the wine is yeasty, but also slightly yellow-fruity, with herbal, savoury and mineral undertones. Dried orange peel. The dense palate is kept under tension by a firm acid backbone and mineral components. Smooth layers hint at late-harvest components, without clearly departing from the flavour pattern of Cabernet lightness. The pithy finish shows certain ageing potential.
