Deep, dark ruby-garnet color, opaque core, violet highlights, delicate lightening at the rim. Still somewhat reserved, dark berry fruit, black heart cherries, a hint of cassis, delicate tobacco-like notes of fine wood, a multifaceted bouquet. Juicy, red heart cherries, well-integrated tannins, fresh and lingering, mineral finish; will benefit from further bottle aging.
