The red wine Weiherberg Pinot Noir, vintage 2016 from the winery Weingut Klumpp has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Baden in Germany.
Remains initially quite silent in the glass, slightly smoky, yeasty, finally ripe black cherry and semi-bitter chocolate notes show through. On the palate reveals a powerful structure of very fine tannins, acidity and body are in great harmony, warm and sweet fruitiness lingers long. A bundle of joy!
