The red wine Spätburgunder RdP Réserve du Patron, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Knipser has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 95+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Leather, smoky new wood, cassis, overall still closed. On the palate almost painfully dense with ripe tannin, vital acidic nerve, enormous tension, chalky mineral background, respectfully extract-rich and very young, with hints of "wild" PINOT complexity in the finish. Enormous length.
