Very pale in colour, the Cabernet Blanc shows its typical attributes on the nose. That's cassis, that's the "New Zealand grassiness", floral, rushing forward, a little liquorice lurking in the background. On the palate, this is a beautiful crowd pleaser, still Sauvignon-like fruit, balanced with harmonious residual sweetness. Not an ultra-complex wine, but a real winner on hot days.
