The red wine Staffes Cabernet Riserva Südtirol DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Kornell has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Intensely bright purple with garnet reflections and an almost impenetrable core. Opens with fine nuances of ripe fruits of the forest, cassis and juniper, bitter chocolate and some undergrowth on the finish. Tension on the tongue, wiry body, very taut, with finely integrated tannins. Finishes with roasted aromas and a rich drive on the finish.
