The white wine »Alte Reben« Chardonnay Auslese, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Ökonomierat Petgen-Dahm has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Moselle in Germany.
Initially cool aromas with a hint of smoke, then dark caramel, roasted hazelnut, quince chutney, apricot confit and subtle herbal notes. Textured on the palate, with finesse-rich creaminess, a subtle wood savouriness, fine fruit with well-integrated sweetness. A classic, stylish and elegant wine.
