The white wine Iphofen Kronsberg Sylvaner trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Olinger has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grüner Sylvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
Decent aromas of mineral and stony notes alongside herbal spice, white flowers and subtle yellow fruits. Straightforward on the palate but nonetheless very elegant, with subtle but concentrated fruit and lots of mineral complexity adding a salty and peppery note. Good extract and nice length. there's lots of drinking pleasure here already, but also more to come in a few years.
