The white wine Reserve Sauvignon Blanc, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Pfirmann has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Still closed on the nose, some wood, the floral varietal aromas are only discernible in hints. Smooth and juicy on the palate, firm acid backbone, shows substance, but is still completely introverted on the palate. However, the wood is very well integrated and gives the wine room to develop. Leave for at least another year!
