Smoky aroma, melon and pear, herbal notes, flax. On the palate, the wine has enormous energy and density, the acidity carries well and far, multi-layered and nuanced, clear minerality, phenolic underpinnings. Muscular wine, yet full of finesse, has great certain ageing potential.
