Deep dark, seemingly impenetrable purple colour. There is an intense and slightly oaky nose, along with some spiciness and aromas of rich dark berry fruit. On the palate it is juicy and vivid, unfolding beautifully, with finely woven tannins supporting nice elegant fruit. It is a harmonious wine, with a lovely finesse throughout and a well-rounded finish.
