The white wine »Cuvée blanc« trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Ruppert-Deginther has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Weißburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Skilfully refined, this cuveé presents itself on the nose with expressive aromatics reminiscent of passion fruit, grapefruit and fruit jelly. A discreet acidity makes the wine accessible, round and harmonious on the palate. The volume on the finish is consistent.
More about the tastingMulti-layered nose with various components: gooseberry, somewhat lactic tones, fine honey touch. On the palate, the white cuvée has an astonishing maturity for the vintage, which ultimately comes at the expense of a little piquancy.
