Tasting Notes
Originates from the Henkenberg vineyard Steingrubenberg. Matured for three quarters of a year in large wooden barrels. Pale citrus yellow with light golden reflections. Buttery, floral aroma, some early spring meadow and meadow herbs. Still entirely of the varietal type and not even a hint of tertiary. Red berries on contact with air. On the palate, it begins to texture, then juicy and finely nervous, fresh and homogeneous on the palate, still a very slight hint of phenolics, rather restrained mineral components, integrated alcohol, medium to medium-long length with savoury and nutty aromas.
