Deep, dark ruby-garnet color, opaque core, violet highlights, subtle lightening at the rim. Attractive notes of precious wood, smoky nuances, black berry fruit, cherries, and hints of nougat. Full-bodied, good complexity, pronounced tannins, a touch of chocolate in the finish; has aging potential.
