The red wine elegy, vintage 2009 from the winery Weingut Silvia Heinrich has been rated in 2013 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Central Burgenland in Austria.
Deep dark ruby colour, opaque core, purple reflections. Delicately smoky dark berry fruit, intense flavours of herbs and spices, some cassis and liquorice, orange zest, very multi-faceted bouquet. Full-bodied, powerful, yet sweet and silky, very elegant tannins, pronounced in fruit berry fruit on the finish, fresh structure, lingers very well, fine chocolate note in the aftertaste, very promising.
