Tasting from 26.11.2019: Ulrich Sautter und Rainer Schäfer

Strong use of wood, accompanied by roasted and slightly reductive notes. Powerful and alcohol-influenced on the palate, the wine has great aromatics and certain ageing potential with a striking acidity to counterbalance the alcohol, at the moment the wood tannin is still roughening the palate structure somewhat. But holds together despite its power.
