The white wine »FUMÉ« Sauvignon Blanc ***, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Stern has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Smoky notes accompany the ripe fruit aromas, gooseberry, mango, elderflower and also some pineapple. The powerful structure again reveals ripe fruit notes of gooseberry and mango, as well as some lemongrass, underpinned by fine savouriness. Good substance, density and good length. Ambitious vinification.
