A confectioner's nose: candied cherry, raspberry pulp, a hint of wood. The palate transforms the warmth of the site into a flavour of sustained elegance: the wine has plenty of juice, a penetrating tactile minerality, fine tannins combine both without pushing themselves to the fore. Subtle!
