The white wine Freiburg Schlossberg Chardonnay GG, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Stigler has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Baden in Germany.
A touch of yeast supports the subtle floral and also slightly nutty aroma. Toasted sesame. The palate opens silkily and increases the grippy phenolics in a restrained way, a layer of texture embeds the structure, tactile mineral tones lead into the finish. Still very young.
