The white wine »500« Sauvignon Blanc, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut von Winning has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 94+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Lime, grapefruit, gooseberry, flinty notes, somewhat reductive with smoky hints from the 500 litre barrel and a touch of chamomile. On the palate, the body is clearly set with balanced acidity woven through the multi-layered structure, tightly knit with some phenolics, very youthful.
