The red wine Spätburgunder Tertiär trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Wageck Pfaffmann has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Mint, salty liquorice, some wood. Balanced palate with rather discreet acidity, carefully extracted, not excessively grainy tannins, harmonious, rock-solid and quite complete Burgunder in a medium-weight format. An ideal accompaniment to food.
