The sweet and dessert wine Pinot Gris Reserve, vintage 2008 from the winery Weinlaubenhof Kracher has been rated in 2009 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Grauburgunder from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Fine vanilla spice on the nose, fresh honeydew melon, some cinnamon, ripe yellow pear fruit. Powerful on the palate, creamy texture, delicate notes of dried pears, lively acidity, a good persistent food companion, very good development potential, fine extract sweetness on the finish, already very harmonious, juicy white fruit on the back palate.
