The red wine »Grosser Stern« Mönch Berthold, vintage 2018 from the winery Weinmanufaktur Stuttgart has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Lemberger, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Cubin from the region Baden-Wuerttemberg in Germany.
Plum and damson on the nose, nougat and vanilla, elderberry and blackberry. Also clear new wood. On the palate, the wine has a beautiful liveliness and complexity, with mineral motifs alongside fresh tannins and a fine acidity underlining the juicy fruit. Combines full-bodied density with elegance. Stylish wine!
