A sparkling, deep ruby color with violet highlights. An intense nose with delicate notes of black and red currants, with a hint of tobacco in the background. Shows lovely fullness on the palate, unfolding with firm, pronounced tannins, plenty of ripe, dark berry fruit, and a lovely smoothness on the finish.
