Tasting Notes
A hint of smoke and leather clings to the mint-scented plum and dark berry notes on the rich nose. The palate is sumptuous, dense, textured like melted milk chocolate and laced with rich layers of ripe fruit. Tannins are as pliable as brushed velvet. This is unmistakeable Australian in its richness and depth, but rendered with an exquisitely light touch. Once again, old vines, some of them planted in 1854, are the secret. Respect.
