The palate comes in with real freshness, framing these aromatic notions with precision and clarity. Yes, this is sumptuous and big but also elegant and fine-boned. Tannins are velvety, ripe and smooth but it is the inky richness of the fruit and the aromatic layers of blueberry that completely disarm you. Very long. Wonderful now, certain to evolve.
