The sekt Cuvée Pinot Brut Nature, vintage 2020 from the winery Zehntkeller Iphofen Hotel & Weingut has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Spätburgunder, Chardonnay from the region Franconia in Germany.
The wine has a restrained, yeasty aroma with a varietal scent of spring meadow and garden herbs. The palate reveals a fresh, dynamic mousse, a taut but not aggressive acidity and a pointedly fresh, pithy finish. A very good aperitif and a wonderful accompaniment to oysters or shellfish.
