Aromas of blackberry, elderberry, cassis, but also mint, eucalyptus and menthol. On the palate it is almost thick enough to be sliced, mellow tannins of medium grain size, yet quite softly bedded, fruit supported by acidity, very fruit rich, and yet despite its fullness and stature rather a finely woven wine. Great length.
