White grape variety

Sciaglìn comes from the border area between Italy (Gorizia) and Slovenia (Goricia). First appearing in the 14th century, it was discovered again in the 1980s by Emilio Bulfon (winemaker) and brought back to life with the support of ampelographs. Sciaglìn has juicy lemon and apple aromas, accompanied by enough acidity to appear fresh. The grape variety is grown in Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
