A few years ago, “Action Burger” kicked off Zurich’s burger craze as a pop-up, and the craze continues to this day. At its permanent location in Zurich’s main train station, the restaurant serves burgers, veggie burgers, and French fries galore; despite growing competition, they’re still among the best in the city.
At Kana, they serve fried chicken, lovingly prepared by hand. Swiss chicken is marinated, breaded, and deep-fried before being served in a burger bun with various toppings or on a bed of lettuce. It’s not only incredibly flavorful, but also extremely juicy!
Opened in 2013, The Bite was one of the first restaurants in the city to specialize in gourmet burgers. You won’t find any smash burgers here—just classic patties made from Swiss beef, grilled medium-rare and topped with all sorts of delicious ingredients.
Charcoal-grilled sandwiches are the specialty at this charming food truck. Juicy Argentine beef rump steak, top-quality beef burgers, or delicious veggie patties are grilled over eco-friendly Quebracho charcoal and served with additional toppings in crispy buns.
The neighboring stall serves delicious burgers made with beef from a local farmer. They also pay close attention to the origin and quality of the other ingredients. If you don't eat meat, try a salad or one of the veggie burgers, which are also prepared with care.
