ProWein to have separate hall for alcohol-free wine for first time

Non-alcoholic wine is on everyone's lips and ProWein will next year have a separate hall for non-alcoholic products for the first time.

For decades, alcohol-free wine was a niche product. Fast forward to 2020, though, and non-alcoholic sparkling wine accounted for around 5% of sparkling wine consumption. Just last month Kylie Minogue launched her first first zero percent alcohol Sparkling Rosé.

Now the boom in zero alcohol wine and spirits is being reflected by the world's largest wine & spirits trade fair. Until now, non-alcoholic products were spread across the exhibition halls at individual stands at ProWein in Düsseldorf. But in 2023 there will be a separate hall for this product group for the first time.

In addition to individual exhibitors, there is also a themed world tasting zone in the centre of the World of Zero. The alcohol-free experience in Hall 1 is rounded off with a series of lectures and panel discussions.

ProWein is being held on 19-21 March 2023.
