The Largest Villas in the Maldives

White sandy beaches, shimmering turquoise waters and a dream-like island landscape. Falstaff provides an overview of the largest villas in the Maldives.

For many, the Maldives are considered a paradise on earth. The John Jacob Astor Estate at the St. Regis Maldives Kommuli Resort, for example, offers room for 12 people as well as its own gym, cinema, spa suites and a 92-sqm infinity pool on the terrace. At the Landaa Estate in the Four Seasons Resort Maldives, guests have a total of 2000 square metres at their disposal. This includes three bedrooms, an 80-metre private beach, a stargazing lounge and a 25-metre pool with a waterfall.

The architecture of the building convinces with its open design: the villa consists mostly of large window fronts. Another luxury accommodation is the Ritz-Carlton Estate, which is located in a private bay directly on the beach and offers 1500 sqm for up to six people to enjoy. Guests have access to a private beach and pool as well as their own chef and butler.

The Beach-House offers the most space of all the villas at Patina Maldives. As it consists of floor-to-ceiling windows, guests can admire the turquoise lagoon and tropical garden without stepping foot outside. There is also a large pool with terrace in the private garden.

The 500 sqm Beach Residence at JAOLI Maldives has four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and is upgraded with its own library, butler and private beach. The Stella Maris Ocean Villa can only be reached by boat from the resort island and is therefore the ideal retreat for all holidaymakers. Here, guests will find a BBQ station, pool and hammocks perched above the Indian Ocean - sunsets can be enjoyed from the sunset deck.

The two-storey Vakkaru Over Water Residence can accommodate up to eight adults. From here you have a breathtaking view of the sunset - there is also a 55 sqm infinity pool on the spacious terrace. Luxury tree houses are another type of accommodation.

The Treetop Pool Villa is one such so-called tree villa - and it is also one of the highest of its kind. It offers a wonderful panoramic view and has a terrace that literally floats above the green island. Guests also have access to a private beach, which can be reached via a hidden 20-metre-long path.
