Which skyscrapers end up in the most Instagram feeds worldwide? TUI Musement investigated this question. The 100 tallest buildings in the world were analyzed - based on the most frequently used hashtags in June 2025. The result: a top 10 ranking with proven classics and a surprising newcomer.
1. Burj Khalifa, Dubai (828 meters)
With over 8.7 million hashtag mentions, the world's tallest skyscraper remains unmatched on Instagram. The viewing platforms offer spectacular panoramic views. The ideal backdrop for social media content.
2. Empire State Building, New York (381 meters)
Around 4.5 million entries secure second place for the New York classic. The platform on the 86th floor is one of the most famous photo spots in the city - including views of Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge and co.
