The world´s biggest travel trade show takes place in the German capital from March 7-9.
After a break due to Covid, the ITB Berlin Convention 2023 is back as an in-person event, reuniting tourism professionals and key players from the global travel industry in Berlin, Germany.
From March 7-9, hundreds of domestic and international exhibitors will be present at the trade show, with leaders of the global travel industry showcasing decisive trends and opportunities for the travel business. ‘Change’ is the buzzword this year in the travel industry and thus the motto of ITB Berlin 2023, ‘Mastering Transformation’, seems quite fitting.
With the global travel, tourism and hospitality community in one place, the trade show is ideal for networking and will preview trends for the years to come. A crucial topic concerning all sectors is responsible tourism and, with that in mind, presentations such as the Responsible Tourism Track and the Sustainable Destination and Diversity & Inclusion Track will be key: experts and representatives of selected exhibitors will talk about socially responsible tourism, equal rights, diversity, inclusion, and sustainable tourism development in general.
Another noteworthy in-person debut will be “Home of Luxury by ITB”, a new luxury travel segment giving buyers and providers unique insights into the world of luxury travel and trends, featuring networking events and meetings, panels and lectures. Exhibitors include Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, Severin*s Resort & Spa, Schloss Fleesensee / Beach Resort Fleesensee, Quark Expeditions, and more.
Before the pandemic, around 10,000 exhibitors from 181 countries displayed their products and services to about 160,000 visitors. This year the international travel trade show will be a pure B2B event, for trade visitors and business professionals only. However, selected sessions will be streamed on the online platform ITBxplore.
