La Terrasse: Summer Pop-Up in W Verbier

The renowned alpine resort is bringing beach vibes to the mountains with La Terrasse – including white sand, a sunset lounge and tapas bar.

W Verbier in Valais was named the best ski hotel in the world at the World Ski Awards in January. From 1 July, it is embracing summer, with a new pop-up Sunset Lounge & Tapas Bar in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Illuminated with fairy lights and surrounded by fragrant plants, you can enjoy refreshing aperitifs as well as sangria and traditional Spanish beers. Matching delicious tapas will also be served.

Various summer activities are being offered every day around the alpine resort: from the Splash Apero on the beach to Kombucha Times at La Plage or the Al Fresco Sunsets and the Siesta Moods at La Terrasse to a Hangover Taco Day.

New coastal cuisine

In addition to its sandy area, beach volleyball court and Beach Club Lounge, La Plage outdoor restaurant is offering a new menu inspired by the flavours of the coast, serving up dishes such as Snow Crab Brioche, Duck Braised Tacos, Homemade Beef Ciabatta, Acapulco Seabass Ceviche, Smoked Salmon Summer Rolls and Race d'Hérens Beef Tartare.
