A fine fruitiness plays around the balanced peat notes, some malt, mineral hints, oak, vanilla and a subtle spiciness complete the picture. The palate is grippy with a herbaceous, smoky attack, a dry mouthfeel and only a gentle sweetness in the middle section. There are brief flashes of vanilla and caramel. With notes of cooled campfire, the finish is slightly fruity and sweet.
