In den flachen Gebieten Kalabriens, die allgemein “piane” genannt werden, wachsen eine Vielzahl von Zitrusfrüchten und vor allem Clementinen. Diese kostbare Frucht ist aus der Kreuzung zwischen Bitterorangen und Mandarinen hervorgegangen und wird aus diesem Grund lokal “Mandarance” genannt. Die Caffo-Brennerei liegt nur wenige Kilometer von der piana von Gioia Tauro (in der Nähe der alten Magna GraeciaStadt Medma) entfernt, aus der die besten Früchte für diesen Likör stammen. Die ausgezeichnete Qualität der Clementinen und die traditionelle Verarbeitung machen den Clementino zu etwas Besonderem, geeignet für jeden Anlass.

Fully ripe, fruity tangerine and notes of bitter orange define the pure aroma, accompanied by a slight tartness. Sweet attack, followed by fully ripe mandarin and (blood) orange. Slightly bitter and ethereal in the middle, sweet finish.
