The aroma rises from the glass with a malty, cereal-scented flavour and a fine smoky note. There is also a fresh woody note. Strong and spicy on the palate, subtle smoke and a slight sweetness skilfully counteract the malty-woody notes in the middle section. The finish is dominated by spice, light fruit and some smoke.
