The Gänz family's organic winery is located on the border between the Rheinhessen and Nahe wine-growing regions in the municipality of Hackenheim. Since 1997, the organic farm has been run according to the guidelines of the Bioland association. Peter Gänz mainly grows white wine in various vineyards between Hackenheim and Bad Kreuznach, but our tasting showed that Pinot Noir also works well, as a red wine and also delicately pink in color. We liked the expressive Sauvignon even better. The family's country hotel, which is also certified organic, belongs to the winery.
