The Grosjean family, originally from Burgundy, came to the Aosta Valley in 1600 at the invitation of the Duke of Savoy to help repopulate the region, which had been decimated by the plague. With a willingness to make sacrifices and hard work, they continued to expand viticulture and the wine trade. Today, the company owns 19 hectares of vineyards at an altitude of 750 to 900 metres. The focus is on the preservation and development of indigenous, autochthonous varieties such as Fumin, Cornalin and Petit Rouge. To this end, a new, modern wine cellar was built in 2000 for the winery, which is now run by the third generation.
