Tasting from 24.04.2026: Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach

Deep golden brown, brass reflections. Fine precious wood nuances, delicate hints of kumquats, candied orange zest, some nougat, multi-faceted bouquet. Juicy, elegant, fine pome fruit nuances, freshly structured, delicately nutty, integrated sweetness, some caramel, lively, riesling-like style, good length, was bottled after 15 years in large wooden barrels, an attractive aperitif.
