The red wine Viceré, vintage 2013 from the winery Vigneto La Gimonda has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Colorino from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear wood aromas on the nose, sour cherry, plum, dark chocolate, clove, earthy notes. Juicy, fresh on the palate with firm, pithy tannins and a beautifully integrated acid structure, medium-bodied, powerful, subtle red fruit, mineral, savoury, long finish. A good accompaniment to strong dishes.
